day 2 and 3 of CNY

so day 2 was filled with more visiting - more photos

every CNY, we hafta wake up damn early everyday to visit every one of my uncle and aunty's place. so on chu er, we went to my fave. uncle's place. haha. i FINALLY got to see elle. the fat cat. he's damn funny! he was eating the leaves off the plant.. din know that cats eat leaves. haha. but he's also very very fierce. if he doesn't like u, he will bite / scratch u hard! anyway they have a dog too.. but i dun have a pic. heh!


after that, we went to some other place. haha.. dun really know who. but they have this really cute king charles(the dog)!! and they stay near NUS. haha.


the lo hei that i helped make. my first lo hei of the year.. with salmon fish! yum. but actually i dun really like lo hei cuz it's damn sweet. but was digging for the fish and eating the cracker... heee.day 3. and my second lo hei of the year. had abalone for this one (i think.. or scallop).. anyway, we had to use fork to lo hei cuz teresa doesn't have chopsticks at home! haha.. visiting with some of the odac people. this is my first visiting thing with them anybody, with any of my friends so i'm really damn happy. this was a really big thing for me.. and i had so much fun playing so many stupid games and i actually have photos.. but i dun think i will risk being killed. haha. lek and teresa wunt be too happy. heeee..

anyway, felt a little depressed today although i had fun. wonder how i managed to be happy and sad but i did. haiz.. i dunno why. i guess it's one of those times u just feel sad for no reason. hoping i'm not the only one experiencing this. HAIZ.. i hate this feeling. why must i feel sad when this is a perfectly happy day? i even got to see lionel!! haiz. but he's playing dota now and i dun really wanna talk to him abt this. i dun want him to hear abt me being sad now when he's having the time of his life. haha. i really hate this.....

BUT, tmr will be a better day... i have no class for tmr! weeeee~~

first day of CNY.

had such a busy day today, i dun think i will blog much but jus wanna share some photos. tradition of ours to take a family photo every CNY. haha. that's me, my sis, my dad and my bro.

my cousins decided to play with my bro. so they were all sitting on him and stripping him. haha. was kinda funny so i jus sat around to take some photos. i think my girl cousin is quite pretty. and she has a damn cool character. very outspoken, friendly, fun , sporty and happy. that's my dad, me and lionel!! lionel had to come over although we din plan for him to cuz my dad says unless i'm not important, otherwise he should come on the first day. but it was a joke la. heh.. pressurise him only. heeee.. that's me and my sister.

finally, we were preparing for our lo hei for tmr.. so we were shredding the radish and carrot. pure carrot juice is kinda bitter and sweet. but really carroty.. kinda nice.. but cnt drink too much. haha.

oh oh.. and i had good luck today. won at blackjack. kept getting 21 points and blackjack. coool. there was this once that i got 21 points the first time i was the banker and 2 consecutive blackjacks. haha.. my aunt, sis, sam, dad cousin, grandma weren't too pleased.. haha.. but it was fun. yip! hopefully i will win more more more tmr...

the chinese spirit

Went to chinatown on friday. was supposed to go eat at this place (opp. CK departmental store at chinatown) that has nice claypot stuff. usually we'll eat some claypot fish (the highlight of the dish is the fish fats.. heh) and claypot frogs legs and some other stuff.. and chicken wings! but it was closed on friday. argh. so anyway..we went to walk around (we do this every year.. like some family tradition). it's abt the only time u can push and bang into others without feeling bad. that's what everybody does anyway. hee... but it was so crowded!! but still fun!the stick thing that looks like my sister's moustache is actually frozen 7-up! it's cute la. it's stuff pple eatin the past i guess. imagine getting a kick out of this 80 cents stick thing. how lame. haha. but we were in chinatown man.. like lionel says "it's like a whole new country... WOAH". haha. btw, the guy is my lil' bro. not my sister's bf. heh. and the other stupid guy that is behind my sister is not her bf either! it's some extra guy acting cute.

after that, we were walking pass lee chee guan bak gwa store and there was a queue but not ultra long so my dad decided we shld queue and so we did. haha. bought like 4.6kg of pork bak gwa, 1kg of chicken and 0.3kg of bacon strips. bacon strips are damn nice. it's like bak gwa in bacon form. so it's damn fatty.. but oh-so-nice! and oh-so-SINFUL. but who cares. heh. of cuz not all the bak gwa is for us la. haha!

ok.. alot of things happened within these 2 days.. that's why i hardly blogged.. and there's some more photos.. so i will quickly and briefly blog them.... (getting lazy)


we were cleaning the oranges and apples and removed the stickers on them and my grandma stuck them to her fingers. hee.me n my bro were in charge of arranging the fruit plate. haha. went to buy salmon so that we will have ULTRA FRESH and YUMMY sashimi for the new year. it's a yearly thing. my dad's friend sells those. i took the pic in a chiller room. the other cold rooms are freaking -35 degrees! pple wear winter clothes to work. been inside one before. my slippers stuck to the floor. haha!

and finally after that, the reunion dinner!
like most chinese families, we had steamboreunion dinner. the cute little thing that looks like a pig is actually a panda. some fishcake thingy. cute huh! this was like my fave. liao besides the abalone soup.. the meatall is especially yummy.

hmm.. tmr is the first day of CNY so it will be a busy day. but it will be fun! cuz i'm giving out hong bao on behalf of my grandma.. haha.. cant wait! weeeee~

the other day, i was listening to the don n drew show and i caught the new year's resolution song by don n drew n patricia. it was damn funny. if u miss it, can always download the podcast. it's all worth it. haha. (16/1/2006 podcast: the don n drew show)

anyway, here's some of pat. mok's new year's resolution:
1. porno is evil but midgets are ok

2. i will invent a new flavour potato chip

3. my fear of black plastic is irrational. i will conquer and confront it by wearing it. (my personal favourite! the way she speak... it's jus damn entertaining.)

4. i will become a god.

5.i will start my own charity and i will be rich.

island getaway.

last weekend, lionel and i stayed at sijori resort at sentosa for one night. it was kinda nice although the resort had a queer smell, the room was surprisingly small and there were not many pple there. (haha!)

anyway, it's cool to spend the night there after a long and really tiring sch week. we were so sleepy from school on friday (the first day that we were at sentosa) that we pretty much slept the day away. except to catch the show at the musical fountain.

but... the next day..
we managed to try out new stuff at sentosa. the chairlift (picture above) which was kinda nice. like when u go skiing when u are overseas except there's no snow and there's nothing much to see. haha. i guess it's quite nice to be able to see sentosa from a height la. so it's quite nice. 3.5 /5 i would say. and after that we tried the luge ride. it's damn fun! and one ride is not enough!! everyone shld try it.

ok. after that, we went to the beach to chill. where we slept (again) after taking a few photos. (eh. the beach photos are like at the top of this entry. haha. i'm damn lousy at this still.. but i will improve. haha. (i wish)..

PS: i LOVE my shades. never ever insult them! (even lionel loves them. cooooooooool!)

damn. I keep starting new blogs it's getting irritating. let's see how long this will last. hee

anyway, i started a blog at multiply.com cuz i wanted to upload my photos so that my friends can see them and blog at the same time. but they dun have nice templates and i kinda like what i see pple do here at blogspot.com. so haha! i'm here..
