EXCITING NEWS!!!

wooohoooo.. i finally got myself (and pheebe) a new rabbit!! it's so so cute!
but i haven tot of a name for it. it's a male. sam says call it newbie. lionel says "heebe (to rhyme with pheebe and herbie) or spotsie or miffy or pherbe".. hmm.. i really have no idea.

haiz. and another problem. now pheebe has to get use to the new rabbit. and rabbits aren't exactly the friendliest to new comers. sigh. i tried jus now and pheebe got so so excited. it was about to hump the new rabbit. hmmm..

a few pictures that i would like to share. heee. they're so so pretty. they're like dolls cuz they're really small-sized and they have damn nice eyes.. it's easier to tell since mary-kate dyed her hair. she's the brunette now.. i kinda like her better cuz she has personality. i think la. and she's into vintage clothes. hee.. and that's jus something abt her smile.

when i go to US, i hope to bump into them! pls pls i pray.. i do hope i bump into them... *closes eyes, palms together, looks to the sky* :)

DOTA!!

did some dota-ing just now cuz lionel and i were done with our work earlier than expected. so he was teaching me some of the dota stuff.. and i was winning but my sis wanted to play some fish game on my laptop so i paused my game.. but..

i accidentally tripped over the wire and my game was lost cuz i din put the batt into my laptop!! argh. so i started another game after dinner.

and i won!! this proves derrick wrong cuz he said with the character i was using (the one that says "oh my homies"..), i cant win against the computer. heeee!! and I WON!! i'm super duber happy. weeee.... :)

end of term break. BOOO!

like always, break is never enough. but oh well. school can be fun too. at least i have lionel with me! yipeeee...

anyway, second training with the odac pple. was tough as usual. (at least i think so.) i'm sure it's ok for ze bin.. he like how zai. he can run up the 40 storeys to take his timing on our 5th set... that's like after 4x40 storeys!! he's damn good la.. and he has skinnier legs than most of us.....

yupz. training today = 2.4km timed run + 5x40 storeys + lots of sacrastic remarks from the guys + lots of sweat and pain.. how sian is that. although i'm happy that i have a reason to train, it's jus disappointing at the end of the day when i know i tried hard and it's still not good enough.

since last training, i've been to the gym 2-3 times and each time, i've tried to push myself that much more. but still, i'm not good enough. to the rest, it seems like a breeze and it seems like i'm not trying. but what do i do when i'm really in pain and i jus hafta stop? i know it's a team thing and they are nice to me. esp eleanor who will wait for me when i'm slow... but i feel so bad. i feel like i'm gonna let the team down... i dun want this anymore!!!!! and the guys are only good at making me feel worse... haiz. i'm making this sound kinda bad. it's not that bad actually. haha. i jus think i'm not there (at their level, at the "good stamina" level) and i'm a litttttttle bit better than the average. so it's hard la.

i'm just not good enough for competitions like this la. not at this time especially. when i haven beeeen training. and i take so much longer to get to the average odac level!!! helllp. what did i get myself into??

if my odac friends see this. i'm pretty much dead. HA!

anyway. i'm training up for the national vertical marathon which is organized by NTU annually. it's like some 43 storeys climb up one of suntec's tower. think it's either tower 4 or 5. yupz. sounds WOW huh.. or sounds easy huh.. oh well.. i dunno la. took part once in JC but that was when i was in ODAC and training twice a week and i'm lousy enough. and now i haven even been training much and i'm taking part!! i think i'm going mad. i jus hope my team wunt kill me.

anway. last saturday was the first training. ran one round round toa payoh and nearly died. i had to stop to breathe. then went to do 3 x 40 storeys at toa payoh. and the view up there is kinda nice. but the climb up... man it sucks! anyhoo, i could see my house from up there. heee.....

the view from the top. this view is not that great. there's others that are nicer. anyway, on the way up, we saw this couple carrying huge bagpacks and they were climbing the stairs too!!! WOW.....that's me back facing the camera! i look like i'm enjoying the view but actually i'm puking after the first 40 storeys cuz i din have breakfast and was feeling damn dizzy. haha!!finally! this is after 3 x 40 storeys = 120 storeys!! :)

haiz. training this saturday again. for now. i'll hit the gym as often as i can!!

lost and found

when i got home yesterday, it was already 7.30pm and it was dark outside.
i realized pheebe (my rabbit) was not in the cage so i went to look in the garden.
i saw it sitting at its usual spot outside my garden. it's hard to imagine what i'm saying if u haven been to my place. but let's jus say i saw it but cant get to it cuz there's a little metal fence that blocks me from pheebe. ok.

its usual spot. this is outside my garden. it's like a jungle out there. and pheebe likes to lie on the soil like that!

so. by the time we were done with dinner. it was almost 9pm and pheebe was nowhere to be found. i got a little worried but was told not to worry cuz usually it will come back after awhile..

at 10pm, i checked. and it was still not home.
at 11pm, i checked. still not home.
at 12am, i checked. still not home.

we searched everywhere. i climbed out of the garden, into the bushes. was so afraid it drowned so i checked the little "pond/stream/river" thingy surrounding the garden.. it's not there or anywhere!

at nearly 1am, i was sitting in the garden jus waiting for it. it was too dark to look for it. i cant see anything. and the only torchlight i had was a pathetic one battery thing.

after that, i couldn't wait up any longer. so i slept. and i dreamt 2 dreams.

1. i found it dead. attacked by cats that i saw earlier that night who were chasing each other.
2. i found it floating on the surface of the water.

this morning. i woke up as soon as the sun was up and went round looking for it. i was so depressed that i imgained seeing pheebe twice. once, i tot it was at the bushes. but when i climbed out of the garden. there was nothing. the other time, i tot this brown pot was pheebe's back so i brushed the bushes aside to get to it. but it turned out to be a brown pot.

so i got myself some coffee and stationed myself at the garden. and as i was waiting. i saw it running towards me!! i was so so HAPPY when it jumped back into my garden. i ran to it and caught it and hugged it...

i think it's gonna take some time before i let it out again. i cant imagine seeing his dead body or losing it. i was almost gonna print out posters to reward anyone who finds it.

recent happenings.

omg! i realised i haven been blogging for almost 2 weeks!! or has it been 2 weeks? hmm.. time flies.

had been having crazy workload, tests, presentation and what-not... that's why i haven been blogging. and of cuz also 'cause i'm a little lazy too, and 'cause i dun have the camera with me. (i like to put lots of pictures.. cuz pictures are mose interesting than what i have to say.. ).

anyway, i cant really rem what happened last week except...

1. v-day. (13/ 14 feb)
din celebrate this year. haven been celebrating most of the years. anyway, on monday 13 feb, which was patron's day (SMU's 'birthday'), lionel got the car and brought me to eat yu sheng at tiong bahru. that's his way of showing he loves me. and cuz i ABSOLUTELY LUUURRRRVEE yu sheng. ya so we went tiong bahru and after that, he sent me home cuz he had to return the car. so he went to SMU to mingle and i think it was from there that he got me something. heh.
when he came over on monday night, he gave me a calendar full of our pictures. it's so sweet cuz i haven had that from anyone. and looking thru all the photos, it made me realize how far we came to get to where we are now. it's AMAZING!!

and, that was not even the highlight! even later at night, when my dad was sleeping already, i heard someone call thru the intercom at my place so i answered and asked who it was cuz it's this lady..

me: hello. who are you looking for? i think you got the wrong unit.

her: i'm looking for a miss reina cai.

me: er, what?

her: i'm looking for a miss reina cai?

at this time, lionel was already opening the door. i was damn confused.. i totally din know what was happening. and my blur sister.. lionel told her his plan and she was still so blur. din know who was at the door too.. was kinda funny. anyway, it was this huge bouquet of RED ROSES!! woooooohhhooo.. it was super super sweet.. i was feeling all warm and fuzzy and loved.. i had roses before.. had them on v-day before. but never had i receive red roses. and i love red roses.. in my life, i only need that once. and i got it!! he must be THE ONE. haha.. (oops. am i jinx-ing it? heh.. ) yup.. i was so happy. i took pictures but i dun have them now.. anyway, believe me. it's super huge and ultra red roses. damn damn nice. heee...

and to think i got him a damn last min present. i was on my way home from my driving lesson on monday morning and hopped off my bus 2 stops early to get him 2 fishes, some fish food, some oxygen balls for the fish and put them in a tiny glass coke bottle. and one fish died after i gave him lor.. sianz. heh..

2. fun-o-rama. (18 feb)
was my first time ever stepping into ACJC.. honestly, i din like AC very much. i'm generalising. but since sec school, all the girls were crazy over AC boys and all wanted to go ACJC. so i tot to myself: "what's so great about a bunch of spoilt, egoistic and stinky boys?" so from then on, i din like them very much.. till now, alot of ACJC pple are spoilt and have attitude problems.. but they can also be very nice and very smart. and i actually admire their confidence.

anyhoo, fun-o-rama was ok i guess. was damn weird cuz i dunno anyone.. and the teachers and the place and everything. so i was pigging out alot of the time. but it was really ok. paul, junior and lionel caught fishes.. and gave them to lionel but lionel left them at lam's place and the next day, we brought them to sentosa and in the end, most of them died. heh.

3. treasure hunt.
was a great day. me, lionel, lam and cheryl joined this island hunt at sentosa. it was some SMU event - waikiki. was kinda fun and we led most of the way.. the first prize was 4 nanos. one each for each team member. but we got second. we were all so bummmmmmed.... cuz we were so close yet so far. haiz.. but we all din expect to get second at all. anyway, we lost to paul's team. good for them. i guess i'm happy at least it's them. *wink*.

as close to shopping as i can get now.

So, I was bored after my meeting two days back and was browsing through the net looking for watches.. i realized that i should have a watch.. been relying on my hp.. haha.. anyway.. this pretty watch is from fossil. kinda nice huh..

other colours that they have.. though i think the white / cream one is the nicest! but but but... is it too dressy? hmmm.....

carribean - been there, done that.

So, over the weekend, i went to see my aunt's new place - The Carribean.

the carpet that was in the living room. looks like a floor full of fat maggots but it's so nice to step on.. haha..
ao this is one of the channels. think there are 2-3 channels. it's a channel cuz it's REAL sea water.. and i think it used to be a dock for ships or something. and so the two opposite blocks are connected by a bridge. it's damn romantic at night.
if u look carefully, u will see a little boat. according to my dad, it's for maintenance work. average units here cost a million and the ones facing the sea...........*drum rolls* 4 freaking million dollars!! damn damn expensive.. haiz... and it's mostly taken up by ang mohs..
according to my dad again, this place has the best fengshui, cuz of the water and mount faber at the back or something la. something like water = wealth will be collected here. (??) but ya.. haha. and the units on the first floor have their own jacuzzi!!!!!! how cool is that? with the fountains in front of ur house and sea view!!! heee.. so cool huh. and did i mention u can see sentosa and the cables cars from the carribean.. haha.. unbelieveable. and at night, we had wine by the sea.. it was so so romantic.. heh

it's about time i mention abt the youngest cousin i have. he's 15 months and still no hair. haha. but he's so cute! his name is jet. (and yes, the jeep thing moves. there's an accelerator pedal and tail lights and horn and what not. haha. tried to sit on it but heh.. too fat.)
that's jet and my dad..that's jet and my dad. and jet is trying to "sayang" the plant. haha.
that's jet staring at my cousin. look at his astro hairdo. that's the best his hair can do. he hardly has hair.. hehheeee... elmo is the dog. i used to have a dog - chilli. and this is chilli's brother. but chilli died. hmmm.. anyway, elmo is so so cute. and i think it's kinda a horny dog. haha.

hmm.. so anyway, midterms is coming and work is piling. i hardly have time to do anything else besides feeding pheebe (my rabbit which i will find time to do an entry on soooooon) and watching a 20-mins episode of scrubs here n there. haizzz.... cant wait for midterms to be ooooooooooverrrr...... yup.

although i said i will not msg lionel to spoil is night yest, i did. i felt so bad i msged him.. and it's so great to know that i'm still high on his priority list.

yesterday he ended his game earlier, brought me to supper (with liyan n lam) near my place then we sat by the pool and jus laid and talked. it was kinda chilly cuz i was wearing shorts but it's such a nice night. and i told him what was bothering me and all and he said some crap. haha. sometimes or rather, most of the time, i jus really want him to listen to me complain and whine and not preach. haha. i know he's jus telling me what he feels and what he thinks abt my problems but i dun really wanna know at that time. heee.. it's MY sad moment!

but anyhoo, i'm glad he came for me. it's so nice to know that sometimes, when u need someone to fall back on when u are feeling weak and life is meaningless (i'm over-acting..haha!). and i'm glad it's him i can count on. it is the best one hour i had in a long time. (i mean the talk at the pool)

for now, it's time to start doing my work again. have got finance work due tmr and apparently, it's a bit*h. woohoo.. i cant wait. bleargh.
