merry xmas!

about a week ago, my thai friend, marisa came to singapore to visit. from a cool and sunny thailand, she came here only to find herself having to deal with the rain everyday. haha. but luckily she likes to shop so we brought her lots of places to shop! haha.

lately the tourism board started out this thing.. some lights out sightseeing thing on the hippo bus only for tourists.. so we signed marisa up for it. the bus left at 10 and me and lionel were "sending her off" and since it was the last bus and there were still spaces left on the bus, the captain allowed us to get on board too. seeing orchard road and all the christmas lights from the hippo bus is so much nicer than what we see on the streets. i think it's really pretty..



i think it was on friday that we took marisa to sentosa. was pretty cool too..took a cable car in and went to the underwater world. it used to be 24++ for underwater world i think but now it's 19.50 for tourists and 13.50 for singaproeans!! how cooool. hee. and it comes with a complimentary dolphin lagoon ticket. it was super fun... i love the touch pool and they have this new stingray tough pool. really really nice. the sting rays feel like tofu.. haha.


pretty sting rays... i dunno what its called. but it looks nice and pretty and translucent. weeee

we also saw lots and lots of interesting crabs.. but i tot the ugliest was this one called the coconut crab.. it looks too weird to be a crab man.. eeks.


saw this interesting thing. how to differentiate between male and female sharks. so marisa and i started to check the sharks out.. but we cant tell.. haha.

hellooooo

it has been almost a month since i last blogged.. cant help it.. since after the exams i hardly feel like doing anything that requries me to use my brain. haha. not like blogging is very taxing on my little brain but i'm just that lazy. haha.

anyway, i have some exciting news! if u read lionel's blog, u would have heard abt the nike+ thing. recently, me n my brother tried ours out. it's kinda nice, makes running a little more interesting i guess..

another thing is my aunt's rabbit is staying at my place temporarily. till xmas. it's a cute little white dwarf rabbit. its nose is a little brown.. really cute. but it's female so it's a little troublesome cuz pheebe and derby are both male. but since derby is still young i tot it was ok to put jojo (my aunt's rabbit) with derby. i secretly put derby into jojo's cage while my aunt was out and for awhile, derby was happily exploring the cage.. then jojo humped derby twice!!! argh.. it's a girlll.... poor derby. always get bullied. hmmm.. oh well.. i think i shall have to sterilise pheebe soon so that derby and pheebe can share a cage. heh.

okie.. last of all, i just wanna announce that i am going to bangkok on xmas day!! will stay there till 1jan 2007! how exciting. aha... i cant wait. so far, it's me and my brother and maybe lionel.. weeeeee.. :)

cobwebs galore..

i realize i haven been blogging. OOPS! i do still take pictures here n there for me to put up. but my finals are in a week and i still have like 2 reports and one presentation to go before that. tell me how do i study? hmmm. and my first paper is corp. reporting. even worse. i think i will not do well. (avoiding the F word. haha)

i shall blog again after my exams..

btw, i did something to myself again. the last time i permed my hair.. now... hmm.. haha! (*meet me and u shall find out.. haha! - kidding. will put pictures up when i am freee.. lalala..)

new toys for me!

on saturday, i was out at the pool reading my CB lecture notes while lionel was in my room doing his stuff. then as usual, lionel checked the apple website (he's not a geek! really!! haaa.. :p) and found out that there's an ipod promotion at suntec.. so he called me back from the pool and i quickly put on my tee n shorts n rushed to get a cab to go down to suntec. it was pouring like nobody's business.. it was crazy. haha. and so we bought ourselves new ipods.. not the newest though. the first generation ipod nano. but still cool. and it looks nice.. classier than the second generation. of cuz i am bias.. haha.


me, my sister and lionel got one each.. heee :) never dreamt that i would own an ipod. other than my precious shuffle ( i still love my shuffle k. jus that i will use it when i run. cuz lighter and would spoil even when i drop it.. ).. it's so pretty.. me n lionel concluded that ipods are evil. long story. but haha!



look at that.. aren't they pretty? the pink one is mine. the white is lionel's. i think mine is nicer. heh. it's funny cuz the plastic case will also get scratched after some time i think. well, i guess at least the ipod doesn't get scratched. the most impt thing is that back doesn't get fingerprints. yes, it's the irritating ipod nano that has the sliver back.. stupid design. but nice la. heh.

although the ipod nano made me very happy.. i got another gift from lionel this weekend. which made me happier. it's this cow cup that i saw at coffe bean some time ago when i had dinner with my sis there. cant rem whether i blogged abt it or not. but ya. i tot it was really cute. but din buy it. cuz i already have a coffee cup. but now that he bought this for me, it will replace my older coffee cup. actually i kinda wished lionel din buy this uber cute cup. cuz the other cup means alot to me.. but then now that i have this cup. i cannot not use it too. and cuz it's jus so cute, i cant bear to leave it there to collect dust.. so ya lorr... haha! i sound like i dun like it right. actually i do love it alot. thanx lionel! :)

cute right? even when i am sipping my coffee, the cute cow is staring at me! and cuz i'm borned in the year of the ox.. it's even more meaningful (?).. haha.. no link. but haha! who cares. i think it's cute. they have a cat cup and a dog cup if i dun rem wrongly. *hint*. haha. right. i dun want ahhhh..

that's the end of yet another useless entry. ha! actually something not so pleasant happened at home. but i dun really wanna share this here. hmm. i am not quite as happy as i might sound. but it's all fineeee.. yup.

i still hear the wedding bells...

ok. so i have some photos that i took at the wedding. funny how i took quite a number of photos but none of the bride n groom*. haha! (*ok.. i manage to steal some photos of my cousin n his bride from the groom's sister.. haha!!)

the wedding dinner was great except i wasn't feeling well. had a real bad headache from lack of sleep and puked n all. haha. but other than that, the wedding speech was good, the place looked nice. (it was at 4 seasons hotel).. and the food was pretty good too.. and the company was good. heee. overall, i had a good time. hhaa.. (so many "good"s..)


so here's the happy couple. my cousin is the guy.. winston. and the pretty lady is su. :) su wore this pretty red gown for the wedding dinner. i tot she looked really good. shall put the photo up when i get it! haha.

current news on me:
think i'm falling sick. in class now. jus had 2 quizzes (international economics and corporate reporting) back-to-back. and a meeting half an hour after my corp class. great! my nose is stuffy n runny and my head weighs a ton n my eyes are teary.. someone kill me now!
other than these, i'm fine. shouldn't be blogging very much from now on cuz i will be having my first final paper on 27 nov. so yup.... will blog if anything interesting pops up.. but i dun antipate anything to.. so haha!

back to the class.. revenue recognition.. bleargh.

today is my cousin's wedding.

it's amazing! he's the first of all my cousins to get married, signifying that my generation has reached the marriage age. eeks. isn't it scary? although now most of us are still in uni, soon we'll all be graduating n starting work and the next thing to look forward to would be our weddings.

still, i can't imagine. as i see my cousin and his bride dressed in bridal wear, i imagine myself in that situation.. and eeks. it's not a pretty sight. when will i start looking like a lady or a woman? when will i ever look ok in a wedding dress? i think that i still look too immature for a gown like that. sigh.

my cousin looked good today. and his bride was really pretty too. i must say they look good together. and it's a pity i don't really know her yet.

when i was in j1, i liked looking at bridal gowns. cuz they always look so pretty. and i tot i would want to get married early. before today, i was kinda sure i wanted to get married at 25 or 26. but today, i'm not so sure anymore. it seems too young.. it's crazy.

oh no! i jus realized that this means that i might be an aunt soon.. my gosh!! if my cousin has a kid, that makes me an aunt right? eeeeeeeks! i haven tot about that. woah. haha..

but i guess i'm happy for them. and i'm looking forward to the dinner later! heee. although i still haven found anything to wear. hahahaha...

are changes necessary?

it's been a week since it happened. till now, i have mixed feelings. "why did i do it?" "but it's good to have a change once in awhile right?" "it's not that bad..." hmmm. to those who haven seen me recently, shame on u and shame on me. haha. i jus curled my hair.

my sis, sam and lionel thinks i look korean. hmm. so i was jus acting korean. haha. (dun u think my cheeks are damn fat? it's fats that i've gained from US. eeks.)


it's such a HUGE change for me. and i'm really not used to it. curling it made my hair really dry.. but then it's also good, even if i dun comb, it's ok. cuz it looks messy anyway. heh. somehow, i'm still thinking, would it have been better if i straightened it rather than have it curled? hmmm. maybe i'll try that the next time. it's kinda fun to try something new. and i have been trying more stuff since my sis came back from aussie. but i'm glad that it's all a gradual change. and so far, i would not say i really hate anything that i'ver tried. all's been good. heee.

on other news, i was looking for a notebook in my drawer the other day and came across my journal that i had while i was in CJ. was looking at the photos i took, and then i came across something else. something that i received from one of my odac friends when we were in JC. and i dunno if she remembers.. although it was a mass email if i dun rem wrongly, it had quite a big impact on me. and it was really comforting when i received that in my mail, jus that i never said anything about it.

break week came and is going soooooon.. BOO!
but i had a good week.

thinking back, i cant rem what i did. just a couple of things here n there.. let's see..

1. finish watching full house
2. watched the scoop. (which wasn't great)
3. had korean bbq at cha's place.
4. met hong chang for dinner n coffee
5. oh! celebrated lantern festival.
6. played fatal frame with my bro n lionel.
7. slacked. alot...
8. had a couple of meetings.
9. did focus group.

OMG!! i cant rem what i did this week.. haha.. doesn't seem much. but i guess the slacking made up for everything. heh..

back to reality. but also looking forward to 3sa's party (+ sleepover) on fridayyyy!!

zhong qiu jie!!

friday was mid-autumn festival. usually, we celebrate every year. this year, it was more special cuz da jie is finally in singapore to celebrate with us. and lionel n sam too.. :)

but before looking at the photos, here are some exciting news at home. haha!


this is my new pillow. if u rem, i jus bought new pillows and new matress early this year. but then my dad decided to buy this.. the millennium pillow. it's damn ex. but then i dun like it. still using the older pillow. haha.. by right, u have to put ur head between the humps. haha!! but cuz i like to sleep on my back cuz of my backaches, my head will fall backwards. as u can see, the pillow slopes.. so i dun like it la. yong feng says it's more for side-sleepers. i guess so.... what a waste.


another something my dad bought. eye-massager with music.. haha.. it's so funny. i look like cyclops. and there are earphones connected to the thing and u can hear birds chirping and waterfalls and stuff. haha..

my weekend of fun

on friday and saturday, lionel n i had to do survey work and this time it was at the airport. hee. was kinda fun cuz we had visitor's pass and could go into the depature hall.. hee. so we decided to act like we were tourists and took some pictures!


haha. we even asked a real tourist (think japanese) to help us take this. heee.



on saturday, after doing survey at the airport, i met karen n isabel and decided to go try out the new restaurant "new york new york" to relive some US memories. heee. the place is nice.. the food is quite good too. but then, not like they have alot of stuff from the US leh.. like sauces and all. tot we could have american sauces.. bleah.

after seeing my brother draw and all, i decided to draw too! haha.. but then i only can draw a simple rainbow and it isn't even nice. but oh well. it was kinda fun playing with crayons n paint again.
on sunday, went to eleanor's birthday party (happy birthday eleanor!). was fun and was really really sweet. esp when ze bin sang for eleanor. ahhh.. i would cry.. it's so so so so so so sweeeet. hee. eleanor, ze bin is not bad to u la. haha. i think he put in alot of effort into this party. hope u enjoyed urself! (photos will be up when i get it!)

on a more random note, i came across these photos while i was finding advertisements for one of my classes. haha. tot they're quite interesting. heh. so yup.
