i was so excited that night and decided that i shall wear red. (although according to my brother, cuz nike is sponsoring singapore team, our home colour is blueeeee.. bleargh. but oh well. i still wore red..)
so in class, since lionel decided to wear red with me, we looked like we coupled dresses.. haha. and we had fun going round taking pictures that matched my red tee cuz i dun usually wear red.. haha. so boh liao..
lionel says i look like the red phone. so i had to take a picture.. how silly.
that's us at the ishop at cine. the chairs were red.
there were 5 chairs there and we were sitting on the extreme left.. there was anoher couple sitting at the extreme right. and they were both wearing black. so it's was quite funny..but no one to help us take a picture. haha
taking a bus yesterday to the national stadium was like going to the national day parade. most pple getting off the bus were wearing red and were all very excited.. the crowd was crazy!
saw this guy with a singapore flag thing round his arm.. i tot it was cute..
we're all red and white. haha.. notice the drinks lionel were holding? yaaa those idiots at the stadium threw it away. bleah!
coincidentally, my sister was wearing white and carrying a red bag and i was wearing red and carried my white bag. haha.
obviously, that's my sister, sam and my bro.. and a million other people.
pictures of the stadium.. it was almost full house except the grandstand seats i think.. like only a few were not taken up.. it was so great sitting in the stadium... ahhh..
this picture was taken just before the kickoff. singapore is in blue! i kept forgetting. anyway, the match was funny. although i din really understand soccer and it's hard to spot the ball sometimes cuz it's so small, i still had fun. and the thai players kept falling down. it was funny. and sometimes someone in the crowd would play his horn and people would sound this malay word which meant "dickhead". haha. it was hilarious..
and when singapore got a free kick or something, the crowd would go "we want goal, we want goal" and clap and stomp and cheer. really fun to just anyhow shout. haha.
we bought these singapore bands thing.. haha.. i had no wear to tie.. oh.. and lionel bought a new samsung phone.. so he was showing off. haha.. it's the samsung D900.. which i like tooooooo...
me and my sis at the end of the match which singapore won 2:1~ we almost din get the 2 goal cuz it was a penalty kick and thailand went on strike. tsk.. but they came back after like 15 or 20 mins? in the meanwhile, the crowd was going crazy going the kallang wave.. and some were boo-ing the thai crowd..
according to lionel, this is one of the last official match at the national stadium before it gets torn down. so it's cool that we went. plus it was a big match!! yay!! that's me in the picture of cuz.. and i kinda like the headband idea.. keeps my hair neater! yay yay! maybe i shld wear more.. wahaha.
that's all of us who sat together. hard to sit stogether. sam had his friends who sat next to the thai pple. and i think my cousin was at the grandstand.. and my bro's friends were somewhere else.
the trash from the singapore crowd. think there was like 49 000 singapore supporters and like 1000 thai supporters? and when u compare just one portion where the singaporeans sat with the thai side, it was so so so so much dirtier! think singaporeans are too deprived of littering so yesterday was shiok for them! haha

instead of trying to squeeze up buses an trains with a million other people, we decided since we were near geylang, we went to eat supper! heee. think this is a famous place and most would come here for their beancurd. yesterday was really crowded. i guess we weren't that smart afterall. but anyway, we had some great food. had soya bean drink, beancurd, gyoza (which wasn't fantastic at all), xiao long bao, yu tiao(must try!) and taiwan noodles (which is a must try too!!)

Something is wrong with this ref. How can he award a penalty kick to SIngapore when it's a foul?
actually it's not obvious what happened when we were watching from the stadium. so i suppose that's why the singaporean supporters were all boo-ing.
